TZEIREI SDEROT - Young Sderot Vocal Group

Tzeirei Sderot is a musical group of eight singers ages 14-18. The group has performed around the world including Canada, France, England and Italy and all over Israel.

The group is comprised of Hagit Yaso, Meshi Haziza, Sapir Hazan, Lidor Maman, Ran Avitan and Esti Chuato. Former singers Salior Baharuzi and Nesti Cassel have recently turned 18 and joined the Israeli Defense Forces.

These talented singers are all Sderot natives who come from versatile backgrounds: some are children of immigrants from Ethiopia or the former Soviet Union, and some have parents who are from Sderot as well. By singing together they represent Sderot's (and Israel's) unique tapestry and successfully bridge cultural differences.

The group meets twice weekly at the music center with their artistic Director Noam Shlomo. Under the management of Mimi Kelmer, the Executive Director of the Music Center, they have traveled the world and perform routinely in front of hundreds and thousands of people in local and national ceremonies and events in Israel. Their new production honors the music of famed artists from Sderot throughout the years.
