Taly Goldenberg is a feature film and television editor of 25 years and a lector at the New Israeli Foundation for Cinema & Television, one of the major funding organizations for film in Israel.
Working with some of the leading Israeli directors including Shachar Segal, Levi Zini and Sivan Arbel, the films Taly has edited have screened on every major Israeli television channel as well as internationally on ARTE.
“Anaphaza” – a film about the Bat-Sheva dance company’s composition of the same name won the best editing award at the Haifa film festival and was screened at the Jerusalem and Amsterdam film festivals.
“Pizza in Auschwitz” – a darkly humorous documentary about a holocaust survivor who leads his children on a wild expedition through his childhood in Poland has screened at over a dozen international festivals and won Best of Fest at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA).
“To the Black Sea” – a film she cut for Shahar Segal debuted at the prestigious Docaviv documentary film festival and went on to theatrical release in Israel.
On the television side – Taly has edited multiple shows of the leading investigative news program “Uvda” for the Israeli channel 2, as well as the pilot episodes of “Murderers” for Reshet (Channel 2), “Someone to Love” for Yes, and multiple episodes of the series “Courthouse”.
